Raising Our Roots is a powerful 4-part genealogy and cultural preservation workshop series designed to help individuals and families explore identity, ancestry, DNA connections, historical records, and the stories that shaped their legacy.
Through interactive sessions, participants will learn how to begin tracing their family history, navigate records and archives, understand DNA matches, and overcome common genealogy barriers—especially those impacting Black and historically underserved communities.
